Hi there. Sorry, I've been on hiatus and didn't see this until now -- but to answer your question, yes and it's fairly easy. I'm going to go into a bit of detail here in case you want to make modifications to work with other servers later, but this can be achieved by creating a new profile for Tonberry and then modifying the settings.xml file to point to the server.

The first thing you'll need to do is create a new profile in Windower.

Then, open your settings.xml file (it should be located Windower's folder). You can open this using notepad, but try to avoid using a word processor like Microsoft Word as it may insert garbage markup or change the formatting. Notepad++ and SublimeText 3 are both excellent free alternatives which can be found easily through google.

Once you have the settings file open, you want to look for the profile that you just created. It should look something like this:

Code: Select all

<profile name="Tonberry">
    <consolekey>Insert</consolekey>
    <width>1920</width>
    <height>1080</height>
    <mipmaplevel>6</mipmaplevel>
    <uiscale>1</uiscale>
    <supersampling>2</supersampling>
    <bumpmapping>true</bumpmapping>
    <allowwinkey>true</allowwinkey>
    <args></args>
  </profile>
To get it to bypass Playonline and point towards the Tonberry server, you'll need to add or change two lines to the end of this, just before closing tag for </profile>:

Code: Select all

<args> --server play.tonberryffxi.com --hairpin</args>
<executable>C:\...\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\xiloader.exe</executable>
<args> contains a list of parameters that you want windower to use when it launches the profile. In this case, the server address and hairpin connection.

--user yourusername and --pass yourpassword can be added as optional arguments to submit your username and password automatically when you run the profile. For obvious reasons, you'll want to avoid sharing your settings with others.

Lastly, you need to tell it where to find whatever your bootstrap is. This is probably xiloader. If you need a copy of this, it can be obtained directly from the DSP project website by googling it, but if you're playing on any other private servers you should already have it. The path inside the <executable> tags will need to point to wherever you put this.

Now just run the profile and depending on whether or not you included the optional arguments for your name and password, you should either get a connection screen to create/log in to your character in Xiloader, or it should boot directly to the title screen of the game.

Enjoy!
